Rotary District 7680
2013 Conference

WHAT: The district conference is a time to get together and celebrate the Rotary year. This is a time for Food, Fun, Fellowship and Philanthropy; along with some education and relaxation too.

WHO: Typically at least the Club President, President-Elect and Distinguished Rotarian in each club attend, along with all of the District Leadership Team. Many clubs have other Rotarians that are very involved in projects that also like to come. This is the place to rub elbows with some of our great Rotarians in District 7680.

WHY: Why should you attend? What's in it for you? Great fellowship and friendships is one of the most common reasons. But with the lineup of good speakers, great breakout sessions, some wonderful entertainment, and a fabulous resort full of all comforts and good food, the real question is WHY NOT?

WHERE: The conference this year is being held at the Grandover Resort, conveniently located in Greensboro. Through surveys of our Rotarians, we have heard that you want the conferences to be kept in the state of NC, close by so that it does not take a lot of fuel to get there, at a nice resort that is economically priced. We believe we have accomplished all of this at the Grandover. And with room rates of only $139 a night, this will be a very affordable getaway.

WHEN: May 3-5. We will have some elective sessions starting on Friday afternoon to entice you to come on out to the Grandover early and avoid the Friday afternoon traffic rush. We hope you will take us up on the wonderful events.
